Beer Saturday

20220521_215302.jpg

Another week another beer Saturday. Wherever you are around the world, I hope you're having a good time. I hope you're with friends or family and I hope the vibes are good and mood is positive.

If it's not try to bring yourself to smile, laugh at a joke, rub a dog, look around and appreciate nature, we all have a lot to be grateful for, however I'm not that grateful for this week's beer. Yes, it's cold, but there ends the positive traits. This box of beer has been hanging around since my birthday last October and we were having friends over to the house this weekend, so we figured it would good to drink them and they were fine - no more, no less, just fine.

This beer reminds me why I started to drink IPAs back in the day. I was tired of the boring and standard homogeneous beers like Miller and when I tasted IPAs I tasted flavour, hoppiness and originality vs boring and standard regular beers.

Sometimes though, a man's got to do what a man's got to do, so we drank a few of these bad boys this afternoon and they were alright, yep that's right they were fine.

Luckily there was a beer Moretti and a Heineken at the bottom of the fridge, so I graduated onto these later on. Neither are anything to write home about, but are a significant step up from Miller genuine shite.
