Oh, Shania Twain! What a beautiful voice in such a small package! One of the first songs I heard of hers was the one that gives title to this post, preceded by "From this moment On". What a compilation of country songs! The thing is that I couldn't clear my mind between Shania's songs and Ingrid's beauty with her poses and that cowboy outfit, like a girl just arrived from the city to a town full of boredom. Just like an old-fashioned cowboy showing her his skills at roping cows, chopping logs with an axe, taming horses or milking cows and she:...that doesn't impress me much, to be honest. What a dilemma! How to impress the newly arrived city girl...I know! With a quick six-month Photoshop course and two or three years of photography courses, I think I could convince her if by then she hasn't eloped with the owner of the Ferrari that showed up in the wheat field, lost without a map, looking for a way back to New York. Oh, Shania Twain! Qué voz tan bella en tan pequeño embalaje! Una de las primeras canciones que oí de ella fue la que da título a este post, antecedido de"From this moment On". Qué compilación de temas country! El caso es que no podía despejar mi mente entre las canciones de Shania y la belleza de Ingrid con sus poses y ese outfit bien vaquero, como de chica recién llegada de la ciudad a un pueblo lleno de aburrimiento. Como que un vaquero chapado a la antigua le mostrase sus habilidades al enlazar vacas, a cortar troncos con el hacha, domar caballos o al ordeñar vacas y ella:...eso no me impresiona mucho, la verdad. Qué dilema! Cómo impresionar a la chica citadina acabada de llegar? Ya sé! Con un rápido curso de Photoshop de seis meses y dos o tres años de cursos de fotografía, creo que podría convencerla si ya para ese entonces no se ha fugado con el dueño del Ferrari que apareció en el campo de trigo, perdido sin mapa, buscando cómo regresar a Nueva York. Vivir para ver!
