It is not called "the magic hour" for nothing: Contrasts increase, warm tones conquer everything, the incidence of light adds volume and textures. I went there a few times before to the last dock of the Hemingway Marina in Havana. The sunsets there are spectacular, also helped by the very low topography of the area. I convinced Lorena for a session there. The afternoon was calmed, without many people circulating on the road, an acceptable wind and the clouds dissipated quickly on their way to the sea. And Lorena was...spectacular.
No se le dice "la hora mágica" por gusto. Aumentan los contrastes, los tonos cálidos conquistan todo, la incidencia de la luz aporta volumen y texturas. Había ido unas cuantas veces antes hasta la última dársena de la Marina Hemingway en La Habana. Los atardeceres ahí son espectaculares, ayudados también por la bajísima topografía de la zona. Convencí a Lorena para una sesión allí. La tarde estuvo tranquila, sin mucha gente circulando por la carretera, un viento aceptable y las nubes se disipaban rápidamente en su camino hacia el mar. Y Lorena estuvo...espectacular.
