So far I have tried using up to two colors, always trying to make them contrast with each other or react appropriately when combined with the skin tones of my models. Although it all depends on the atmosphere and the message one wants to convey. For example, the image that heads this post: my dear niece Celia with a silence gesture on her lips and a red light that dominates everything. It makes us think of a dark place with alarm lights everywhere, from which she wants to escape, but something that can detect her prevents her from doing so, don't you think? Then I tried a magenta gel (simple colored acetate sheets that come with some flashes) on my main flash and a yellow one on the secondary or crop flash, it gives it a certain presence in a projection room perhaps that's why the gesture of framing that she does with her hands in the foreground. Hasta ahora he probado usar hasta dos colores, siempre tratando de que contrasten entre sí o que reaccionen apropiadamente cuando se combinan con los tonos de las pieles de mis modelos. Aunque todo depende de la atmósfera y el mensaje que uno quiera transmitir. Por ejemplo, la imagen que encabeza este post: mi querida sobrina Celia con un gesto de silencio en sus labios y una luz roja que domina todo. Nos hace pensar en un lugar oscuro con luces de alarma por doquier, del cual ella quiere escapar, pero algo que la puede detectar se lo impide, no les parece? Luego probé una gel (simples láminas de acetato coloreadas que vienen con algunos flashes) magenta en mi flash principal y una amarilla en el flash secundario o de recorte, le da a ella cierta presencia en una sala de proyección quizás por eso el gesto de encuadre que hace en primer plano. La tercera imagen con gel amarilla...solo por diversión!!
