They are squealing in silence
Longing to come to our aid
Yet kept apart by that overstretched line
The mistakes they made
They long to teach us over it
Yet kept apart by that overstretched line
Heroes of them
Peep on us with disgust
Longing to come and revive self sacrifice
And teach the virtue of selflessness
Yet kept apart by that overstretched line
Our forefathers are weeping
Longing to reprove as was their duty
Yet kept apart by that overstretched line
In our wrong they give us drought
In our right a fruitful harvest
But all the more they long
To teach us the principles of servant-leadership
Yet kept apart by that overstretched line
In their tears we have flood
In their injury we see blood
Their bones are quivering in their
Catacombs, longing to show the way
Yet kept apart by that overstretched line
Our numbers are dwindling, they seek
To teach us the secret of life
Yet kept apart by that overstretched line
