After watching several videos, specially the one from Wyloch into making isometric maps, I decided to start making my own. First it was just pencil and paper and got a good number of them, but then I took to trying to make some digitally with Krita, just from some of the ones I had tried to make on paper.
Realized the angles were not correct and started using Wyloch's pdf as a guide on a new layer. I had print and laminated a battlemat and tried to use that one as main lines. The problem is that the angles were never going to be right, and it took me something like an hour to realize it (sighs).
It all worked out when I used a rectangle and straight lines to get the proper angles on a white background. Will print it some time this week and hopefully some of you will enjoy the result. Although I'm thinking about how to make it work on a mat and with minis, but we shall see.
