The average egg graded as "large" has an average weight of 58 grams, short circumference of 14cm (5.5 inches), and long circumference of 16cm (6.2 inches).
These extra-large eggs I got from my Dad's poultry measure averagely 7 by 6.5 inches in circumference. They are so big they can't fit into the commercial crates.
It a pity I don't have a balance to measure their weights.
