Hello everyone, welcome to another beautiful Wednesday Walk 馃挌 I don't know about everybody else, but recently I've been doing and feeling really good, and being grateful for every morning that I wake up.
This week, we decided to go for a family walk down by the water. This location is known as Princess Point, and it is truly beautiful. Along with scenic views, you will come into contact with the waterfowl of the area, such as geese and swans.
Our girls love heading down to the water 馃榿 While we did not see many birds this time, they enjoyed themselves by throwing stones into the water and searching for bugs.
Our oldest here, striking some silly poses 馃槃 She will be 5-years-old in a couple of months, and her character is really starting to shine through 馃専 She is becoming more invested in her fashion -- she wants to pick out her own clothes, and show off her sparkly shoes! 馃ス
Watching the two of them grow up together has been such a joy for me, as their mother, to behold. My heart grows full knowing that they will always have one another for the rest of their lives (please, Lord! 馃檹).
A picture of Daddy with his girls 鉂わ笍 We do not get many photos like these: the girls with either Daddy, or Mommy. You know, as we took this, it truly dawned on me how few photos we have with me and the girls 馃槶 I'm not overly photogenic for one thing, but for another, it never crosses my mind!
My husband brought his drone out for this walk, and he was able to capture some amazing shots of the sunrise 馃寗 I will share them, along with a few of my own that I took:
These are some of the photos from right when the sun began to break across the sky -- truly a sight to behold! 馃檹 The deep red accompanied by soft orange is such a nice contrast...
The sun beginning to appear! 馃槂 Here we see some blue quietly peeking out from the clouds...
I took these two photos as the sun continued to climb higher into the sky. There was this tree, what I believe was a giant oak tree, and I was able to capture the sun through the branches.
Lastly, the sun finally breaking through and taking its place in the sky 馃槉 We could feel the slow rise in temperature as the sun grew brighter and brighter. There is nothing more energizing and revitalizing than the first rays of a full sun! 馃尀
