Hello my friends, right now I will take you to the most famous bubble tea restaurant in my locality. This restaurant's name is : "Charmcha". This restaurant used to be called "LikeTea" but for some reason they changed the name. This restaurant is famous for the quality of its drinks and the average prices. "Charmcha" is located next to the high school so this is the ideal location for them. This milk tea restaurant is always updated with the latest, most delicious drinks and they always change their drink menu constantly to suit everyone.
In the 2014s, milk tea was a novelty drink in Vietnam and it was really popular in elementary and middle school gates, and of course it was made from a variety of chemicals. Charmcha was built about 7 years ago when I was a high school student. When I was a 10th grader, I used to go with my friends to this milk tea restaurant to enjoy different types of milk tea. At that time there were many milk tea restaurants but most of them used cheap milk tea ingredients and they were really horrible. Milk tea cups at that time only cost about 5,000 VND - 10,000 VND (about 0.2 - 0.5 USD) with all different colors and flavors, they were made from Chinese milk powders. When we were older, we found out that those milk tea powders are so cheap at only 0.2 usd/1kg and they are poisoning their customers. Charmcha was actually the first milk tea restaurant at that time to have milk tea flavor made from fresh milk and tea, it cost about $1 at that time. Until now, those cheap and toxic milk tea shops have been eliminated and no longer exist because young people are smarter and their sense of taste is keen enough that they can enjoy most drinks. There are more than 20 milk tea shops around my area, they are nicer and bigger than Charmcha but Charmcha is still a favorite place for many people.
Today I met my friends at Charmcha milk tea restaurant - they were my close friends from high school. This is the only milk tea restaurant that still exists from the time when we were in high school and it has kept many of our memories. We have held class reunions, celebrated birthdays, held meetings many times here a few years ago. Like I said above the bad milk tea restaurants had to close.. but there are some very nice bubble tea restaurants in my area that had to close because there were no customers. The trend of milk tea went through a crisis period in the years 2018-2019 when Vietnam received new food and drink trends such as: lemon tea, Korean spicy noodles, pearl yogurt. And it's great that this Charmcha milk tea restaurant is still here after all these years.
I know the owner of Charmcha restaurant, he is a very good and talented person, he has created 3 other bubble tea restaurants and more than 10 snack bars across my country, and some other bakery restaurants,.. He built his brand on a "chain" model and that made his brand strong.
I ordered an egg pudding lychee yogurt (this is Charmcha's new drink), but my friends ordered black tea and black pearls.
My lychee yogurt tasted great, when lychee yogurt reached the tip of my tongue I could clearly feel the aroma of lychee and the crisp taste of lychee jelly. Lychee yogurt has sour and sweet flavors mixed together with rich egg pudding. I will come back to this restaurant for drink other yogurt flavors. I recommend you try lychee yoghurt and peach, guava, mango yoghurt it's the best flavored drinks.
