Everyone can do Yoga - Lotus for Yogis

Yoga is a path to freedom.

Who has not ever felt knots along their body that feel more like a prison of emotions and feelings than ailments?

The physical practice of Yoga - Yoga-asanas -, are a wonderful tool that day after day, more and more people are getting to know, and with it, the impressive benefits that these allow.

Through the physical work of the postures we find that the muscles become more flexible, the organs are stimulated and nourished with new blood, the bones are strengthened with the work of our own weight, and each cell is filled with life, as a result of the inevitable attention that we place in each breath doing the asana.

All this, as a way of "unclogging pipes" releases the obstructions of each energetic channel -nadis- and allows the release of the vital cosmic energy -prana- that nourishes our whole being; on the physical and energetic level.

The energy ascends in a way that allows the harmonization of each energy center -chakra-, which functions as a power plant that then distributes this harmony throughout the body and through the central channel -sushumna nadi- until it finds its way to the highest point in us and continues unhindered, and finally reaching union with the entire universe.

Thus, through sustained effort, through the fire of discipline, liberation occurs, samadhi, light arises and liberates us. We free ourselves from all physical and psychic conditioning, and the enlightened mind - Bodhicitta- manifests.

To think about all this process, it is wonderful, it is interesting and attractive, but it is only possible through our own experience, our own journey of the path, our own effort.

Today, with all the posts I want to share, I am very happy to see that more and more people are sharing this path. Either because they are starting it or because they already have some months or years doing it. It is the community -sangha- going through its process towards enlightenment, and this inspires.

In this post, @cronosclocks she tells us about how in 2020 she was going through many emotional difficulties, going into a "hole", and that thanks to the suggestions of some people, she found Yoga.... She tells us:

In the process I realized that yoga is a wonderful ritual to start the day, so waking up so early was no longer a regret as long as I had those 40 minutes of morning yoga.

I never thought I would like yoga as much as I do now, I never saw it as appealing, but once I started there was no turning back, now yoga has become one of my favorite practices, because it allows me to make physical effort while keeping my body and mind as relaxed as possible, staying connected with my breath, with my body, with the feeling of being alive and with the present moment.
