Happy World Environment Day 2024! We are #GenerationRestoration

Happy WED.jpg

Globally, more than 2 billion hectares of land are degraded, with 12 million hectares lost to degradation annually. Each year, 55 million people are directly affected by droughts, making it the most severe hazard to livestock and crops worldwide. Land degradation impacts 3.2 billion people, exacerbating food insecurity and drought, driving species to extinction, and increasing conflict and migration over natural resources. Climate change intensifies land degradation, underscoring the urgent need to learn, advocate, and act for land restoration.
By planting trees, composting, and practicing zero-tillage agriculture, we can heal and restore our land. Our land, our future: We are #GenerationRestoration.
