The magic of Las vegas

Well where do I start , for anyone who has been to Vegas before you know there is just too much for one post ,it would be better to write a book but i'll do my best.
In December 2016 my aunt and uncle invited me to travel to Vegas with them for my cousins 21st birthday and of course I said yes ! This was obviously a place on my bucket list and they had saved up to make this a very special birthday for my cousin Ryan and that it was , in fact special is an understatement.
So i'll go back to my arrival , after a terrible flight and multiple delays and a night stop in Toronto,I eventually arrived in Las Vegas and I cant imagine there is any other airport in the world that makes it so obvious of your destination. With a huge welcome to Las Vegas sign and what seemed to be a casino inside the arrivals terminal it was very clear where I was and the experience started straight away.
A short ride to the strip and it all sunk in,I was finally here ! and it was quite overwhelming.
I went straight to the Bellagio hotel where we were lucky enough to stay and as an added extra we had fountain view rooms which was mind blowing! I could have just stayed there and watched the fountain show and the view for days, I would highly recommend the Bellagio for that real Las Vegas strip experience.

The Vegas strip has pretty much everything you can imagine and more, just walking around going from casino to casino was a crazy experience in itself. So many different themes in every building and from the outside the architecture is something to behold, it really does feel like another world experience, especially if you're not used to a big bright city environment but that being said I have seen the likes of Hong Kong , LA, Beijing etc and Vegas is still in a category of its own.
Everything from indoor malls with huge painted ceilings made to look like the sky, to a reconstruction of Venice and it's canals inside of a hotel on a scale that is hard to describe. A statue of liberty, an Eiffel tower, a Brooklyn bridge, pyramids and the list goes on and all of these offering a completely different experience and to the highest of standards.

You can see countless live shows and live bands from any genre and they are playing all the time so no matter how short your stay you will easily find something to your liking.
Food, food and more food! if you like a massive variety of food Vegas is the place to be. The strip offers everything from celebrity chef restaurants to food challenges you may have seen on TV and pretty much every cuisine from around the world and every fastfood joint that ever existed. So in other words no matter your budget or your taste you will not go hungry.

The casino's themselves are all very different but in most you will find all of your gambling needs and if you are gambling you will be offered free drinks for which you should just tip the waitresses a buck or two or if you have more cash to spare then go for it because the more you tip the more often they will come your way for a refill and there is no limit to what drinks to can choose from.

Las Vegas old town is the original strip from when they first started constructing casino's and it really does have that old school feel and offers a very different atmosphere. Old town will have all kinds of different street performers and celebrity look alike's and lots of gift stores for everything you could want. The casino's in old town are much cheaper to gamble in but don't quite have the same luxury feel as the main strip but what it lacks in luxury it makes up for in character. There are many different things on offer in old town and good times are guaranteed , they even have the mob museum for those of you who want to see how this amazing place first came to be and although the founders were all criminals they certainly had vision and the ability to build one of the worlds most spectacular cities.
