London street scenes for #treetuesday

I've been up and down to London a few times in the last couple of weeks and took a few photos of the trees that nobody sees. They are part of the street scene and are largely ignored by most people who seem oblivious to their existence.

London is a very green city in as much as there are loads of open spaces, parks and masses of trees dotted all over the city. They clean the air and are as much a part of London life as any well known monument.

This is a typical residential street scene in many parts of the capital.

As you can see. There is a lot of greenery on the residential streets of London.

And finally a photograph that many people may recognise. The Canary wharf complex in the background of the historic Landsbury Estate in Poplar

I hope you enjoyed this post and you get a feel for the everyday human sized side of London life.
