I spent a few hours at the Bai Orchid-Butterfly Farm in Chiang Mai. It's a quite and peaceful place. Being the off season there were only 1 to 2 busses there at a time.
Not only do they have butterfly's there is a small trail that goes through the different areas in a jungle like atmosphere.
There are also places to eat including a buffet and coffee shop. It's a little touristy but what's not.
