Christmas Markets

Christmas Markets are cosy. Christmas Markets are comfy. And Christmas Markets are expensive.
But who cares about the price in "the most wonderful time of the year". No one.

And to be honest, buying this little wooden carved donkey, handmade from the old, wise looking man smiling at you from behind the stool feels much better than spending it on some plastic garbage sold at the next megastore. And that's how it should be.

In Germany, Christmas Markets are a huge thing. They are everywhere and everyone loves them. I mean, what could you possibly not like about hot delicious food, a cozy atmosphere and handmade stuff. And then there is also this thing called Glühwein (Mulled WIne) which is to be honest, probably one of the best things about Christmas Markets.

I absolutely love going to Christmas Markets. Eating glazed almonds and listening to the local Chor, who practiced so hard for that time of the year. And even though I barely ever buy one of those wooden carved hand-made donkeys, I enjoy talking to the vendors a lot, who seem to be so full of joy and pride about the whole market.
