Motorcycle Travel Series by @velimir 'Riding with Vincent' (Part #327)

'Riding with Vincent'

A warm spring day at its best. One of those when bird's song is the first thing you hear in the morning. There is a chance of quick showers but today this will not keep me away from riding. My dear friend @vcelier whom I've first met on Steemit has arrived for a visit. He drove several hours just to see me and sit in the back of my motorcycle. Well, field trip it is! First a cup of coffee at a remote place on a hill hidden in the deep woods. Sometimes before I go for a ride, I stop here for a coffee and enjoy the view. We spend some time in pleasant conversation and then we ride west. Before we leave, I take the opportunity to take this photo of Vincent on my bike.

One never knows how people will react to riding. Some people fall in love with the engine in a first few minutes, others are immediately afraid and don't enjoy the ride. It seems that Vincent goes in the first group. He is relaxed and doesn't mind leaning in the curves. The road takes us to a little town west of Zagreb where I show several landmarks to him. Then we ride the road in-between mountains, following a creek. The weather is just perfect for the ride. Not cold, not warm. We are having the ideal conditions for maintaining a steady cruise speed.

In the end, we end up in a nice place where they feed us well. Some more talk on interesting subjects rounds up the day. There are many interesting subjects we cover before it is time to head home. However, we'll be still meeting in the evening for some good time. Vincent is leaving in the morning, hopefully taking some nice memories with him. I hope to meet him again, soon! On Steemfest or anywhere else. A photo to remember the day by it.

But don't take my word for it, here's Vincent post about it! :)
