Hi dear steamers, today I want to tell you about my last trekking experience at Bolivar Peak in Merida, Venezuela. Rising 16,332 feet (5.007 metres) Bolivar peak is part of the Andean mountain range and is the highest mountain in Venezuela.
The crossing consists of 7 days of trekking from Los Nevados village located 4 hours from Merida City.
From there began the ascent of 7 or 8 hours of walking every day until arriving at the place where we set up our camp to feed and rest.
.
The last day the trek began at 2 am, we headed to the base camp where we started the ascent to the peak. From here the ascent was with technical climbing and it took us about 4 hours to the summit, where it was possible to see the clear sky and to see how small we are compared with the immensity of nature.
If you like the extreme adventure I recommend this trekking.
Thanks for read, follow me and upvoted.
