One of the most magnificent buildings in Ancient City is “Sanphet Prasat Palace”. It used to be one of the palaces of our ancient King in the Ayutthaya period which is more than 100 years ago.
Unfortunately, only the brick basement of the real palace, which is situated in Ayutthaya province, is remaining now.
In the meantime, we could luckily admire the Sanphet Prasat Palace again after the Ancient City has rebuilt it based on archaeology and historical documents.
The Sanphet Prasat Palace in the Ancient City is very enormous and the architecture is really magnificent.
It’s one of the most popular spots for photography. Especially foreigners love to wear the ancient Thai dress and take photos with the Sanphet Prasat Palace, imagining that they were in the Thai ancient period…
