My Journey from India to Thailand, The Land of Smile (1st Day)

I am sharing my excellent journey to the country Thailand, a land of smile. The journey was extremely amazing and enjoyable. I departed from Sardar Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad (Gujarat) by SpiceJet Airlines on July 5, 2018 on 8:00 pm. Landed on Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi International Airport on 2:00 am next day.

Suvarnabhumi Airport also known as Bangkok Airport. It is one of two international airports serving Bangkok, Thailand. Suvarnabhumi covers an area of 3,240 hectares (8,000 acres), making it one of the biggest international airports in Southeast Asia and a regional hub for aviation. The airport is currently the main hub for Thai Airways International, Thai Smile Airways, and Bangkok Airways. It also serves as regional gateway and connecting point for various foreign carriers. The airport has the world's tallest free-standing control tower and the world's fourth largest single-building airport terminal.

Suvarnabhumi is the 21st busiest airport in the world, ninth busiest airport in Asia, and the busiest in the country and is also a major air cargo hub of 95 airlines. The airport inherited the airport code, BKK. The modern Motorway 7 connects the airport, Bangkok, and the heavily industrial eastern seaboard of Thailand, where most export manufacturing takes place.

Early morning at 6:30 am on July 6, 2018, I took a bus to Pattaya City. Around two and half hour of journey, I reached at Pattaya, exchanged some money from INR to BAHT. BAHT is a official currency of Thailand. Checked in my hotel at Hotel Zing.

Thank you for your overwhelming support.
