Choerospondias axillaris (Local name - Lapsi/ लप्सि) is a type of fruit found only in Nepal.

It can used in various ways for eating. It has a hard and big seed inside it and tastes extremely sour.
It can be used as pickle too.
Various dishes have been made.
This fruit is exported mainly to India, China, Japan and other Asian countries.
