Good day steemians,
Last sunday, we had our team building at San Remigio, Cebu. The usual venue where we were having our supervisory meeting every year (one of the beautiful beaches in San Remigio). We gathered all last saturday and departed at around 4:00 in the afternoon. As we were riding in our respective vehicles we had fun, we made jokes at each other so that we don't get sleepy and bored.
We arrived at our destination at almost 9:00 in the evening. We had our dinner together with our boss. After having our dinner we got in our room and relaxed. The boys were having sing along and had a little drinks. We, in our group took a swim together for it was too hot that night. After the swimming we got asleep. But i was not able to sleep early because i had headache and colds.
At sunday morning my co-coworkers prepared food for our breakfast and had our activity after. We had games as part of our activity, we had four games actually. First, was the action relay. Our boss was the one to demonstrate the action to the first player. And will pass the action the next player and pass pass until it will got to the last player and the last player will deliver his relay to the first. But sad to say, that the action we passed was too far different from the correct action what our boss demonstrated. Second was (sorry i don't know what the game called) i will just explain the mechanics.The game played with groups. Group 1 and group 2 and i was belong to group one. The had to turn around 5 times and while turning around, your right hand had to hold your left finger and your left hand will point to the ground. When it was my turn, when i almost reached the fifth turn i got down (kay nalipong nako) but when i was about to run to our home base i got down again but this time it was in the water na. Our team got defeated, and the group 2 won. Third, was the XOXO game. The game played by partners. My partner was my husband @marlon82, he was the O and i was the X. The game had a goal to have a score of 8 points. We thought it was a competition game but we were wrong. It was a give way game (diay) hehe. There was only one partner got the 8 points. And it was just them got the instruction clearly. Our third game was "how many ways can the mouse reach the exit" game. It has 14 ways the mouse can reach the exit. And i got only 7, nobody got perfect. But its okay, atleast we played the game with effort and we enjoyed much.
And we had our swimming again. Since most of us got wet by our games. We enjoyed swimming under the heat of the sun. We didn't care even if it's too hot. We didn't care if we got sun burn. What came to our mind is that we enjoyed the crystal clear water. We really feel the summer.
At noon we prepared for our lunch and then we eat together. Right after our lunch our boss gathered us all for the final discussion. And our marketing officer who organized and prepared our games explained and discussed what was it all about. Our games was actually all related to our work. Many of my co-workers shared their ideas, opinions and suggestions on how our company be more productive, on how we can gain more orders and on how we can save. Lastly, our boss gave his final words. And the meeting ended. We then got back to our cottages.
At around 4:00 in the afternoon we decided to have a food trip. We go to alberto's pizza. We ordered pizza of course, shake, halo-halo, juice and water. And when we were done we got back to the beach.
On the next day and our last day some took a swim, satisfied their selves in the water. Some boys had a sing along again and drinks. The other were sleeping. Me and my friend just stayed in our room. After our lunch we prepared our things. And after a few minutes we then got in to our respective vehicles.
As we traveled, some were asleep for they were tired of swimming. But when when we noticed there were fruits and delicacies for sale beside the street we asked the driver to stop. We bought fruits and delicacies for our family as our pasalubong for them.
We got home at around 5:00 in the afternoon.
