As everybody know by now, Airberlin the German Carrier has filed for bancrupcy. Finair is offering a Status Match to Airberlin and Lufthansa customers. Statusmatch means, if you have Status with Airline A, Airline B will match it so you don't have to start from scratch. If you have status you will have access to Lounges with free food and drinks, newspapers and internet in many Airports

You can find the Website here https://www.finnair.com/de/gb/finnair-plus-tier-match if you hold LH or Airberlin Status. If you have Status you will be matched to Ruby and if you fly 40K miles in 6 month you will receive Sapphire with Finnair. If you just want Sapphire 2 flights in Busines Class with Qatar and crediting to BA and adding 4 BA flights will do the trick too.
