Bui Vien or 'backpackers street' is downright notorious and for good reason. By day, it's quiet and laid back, but transforms into a buzzing strip of nightlife in the center of Saigon in district one.
From cheap, street riding beer stalls to flashy nightlcubs and everything in between, this area is wild and crazy, jam packed and full of debauchery. That's why we love the hell out it. Its cheap. Its loud. Its madness. And yes, It has some shady people, but damn its fun!!
Also, you can see the woman in the beginning selling dried squid. Its a perfect beer snack, and although quite pungent, its delicious. A perfect pairing with some cold beers on the side of the road on another hot night in the middle of Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam.
