Park City Utah is the home of the largest ski resort in the USA, and 12th largest in the world. You'll never see views like you do in the Deer Valley, Park City, Heber areas unless you are 15,000 feet above sea level. Park City is 7,000 feet above sea level.
**The Experience Takes 3 Hours. **
The meeting point is at the Best Western off of the Park City & I-80 Exit at 7am. Passengers follow flight crew in their vehicles to that day's launch site. Preparing for flight is such a fascinating process. Once the balloon is inflated and Ready To Fly you will spend about 1 hour in the air.

The Ground Crew Is Busy On The Ground
A chase crew on the ground follows the flight using technology and experience. The ground crew works very hard. I definitely recommend tipping them. Once they finish packing up the envelope the basket is secured to its trailer and all of the passengers and crew return to the launch site.
At that time the Austrian balloon pilot named Will, which is short for Wilhelm, and his crew do a toast with champagne.
