Waiting To Meet

I finally braved it. I took the tube for the first time since lockdown began. I’m meeting a friend for a photo walk along one of London’s great canals.

My friend is running an hour late. I partially expected it to be honest. People are always late. I always try not to be. For example, I forfeited having a proper breakfast this morning just so I could get out in time. Now look at me, sitting on some random curb waiting for an hour.

Moral of the story? Next time have breakfast and be late.
