How to grow healthy hair and prevent hair loss

Some are born with a thick healthy head of hair, while others try to make do with the little locks they do have. This is not the be all and end all however, there are a few tricks that many believe do actual help to grow hair faster and thicker, as well as to prevent it from falling out altogether!

Try out some of the following ingredients, they’re nit just for eating! Food that helps your hair grow:

1. Eggs
Rub raw egg yolk into your scalp! Egg yolks contain biotin, folate, vitamin A, and vitamin D, all of which stimulates hair to grow faster and thicker.

2. Pecan nuts
Grind up those pecan nuts until you have an oily solution. Rub this solution onto your head and into your hair. Not only will it stimulate grow, it will leave your hair feeling soft and silky too!

3. With apple skin
An apple a day doesn’t only keep the doctor away, it gives you luscious locks too! Apples contain Procyanidin B-2 as well as anti-oxidants, both of which stimulate cell-growth and cell-regeneration – including hair cells! Some simply eat the apples while others mush them up and create hair masks.

4. Green tea
Green tea is also very rich in ant-oxidants, this means that it re-generates cell very fast. Add a cup of green tea to each meal, or mix some in with your shampoo so hat it can be absorbed and work its magic.

5. Coconut Milk or Coconut Oil
Coconuts have so many healing abilities, and hair growth or hair repair is one of them. Use the milk or oil as a hair mask and massage it generously into your hair. Not only does it smell good, but it will add a healthy shine to your hair too!

6. Aloe Vera
This is not the type of hair gel you would use for styling! Squeeze some gel out of an aloe leaf and massage it straight on to your scalp. This amazing plant is also rich in ant-oxidants and minerals that encourage hair to grow thick and fast.

7. Olive
Use Olive Oil as a hair treatment. Wash your hair and then rub it into the wet strands as well as your head. Leave it in over night and then wash it out the next morning, rinsing thoroughly. Olive oil increases the elasticity of the hair, preventing breakage. It also contains the anti-oxidant required to stimulate cells and promote growth.

To be honest with you, there are so many “food” sources that can help you grow your hair or prevent balding, whether ingested or rubbed directly onto the roots of your hair, good food does good things to your hair! Do you have any tricks up your sleeve that promotes healthy and thick hair?
