Desde hace meses tenía antojo de galletitas estilo newyorkino, había visto como las promocionaban en reels de instagram partiéndolas a la mitad para demostrar todo el relleno interno de chocolate. La diferencia de estas a otros tipos de galletas es que estas son suaves, gomosas, la apariencia es más como una torta y menos como una galleta.
Paseando el fin de semana me encontré con un lugar llamado Cookie Jar y pensé que el concepto era similar al de estas galletas que había visto en redes sociales. Pedimos unas para probar pero, tristemente, nos encontramos con la típica galleta crujiente, de sabor muy dulce, incluso para una persona que disfruta mucho del dulce como yo.
Me pareció que el lugar estaba decorado súper bonito, y que sirven muy buen café, así que eso fue lo que más me gustó de mi visita. Sigo con el antojo de las galletas tipo new york pero cada vez están más altas mis expectativas 😅En últimas, creo que podríamos prepararlas en casa ya que he visto muchas recetas en internet 👀 ¿Te animas, @aurodivys?
For months I had been craving for newyork style cookies, I had seen how they were promoted in instagram reels splitting them in half to show all the internal chocolate filling. The difference of these to other types of cookies is that these are soft, chewy, the appearance is more like a cake and less like a cookie.
Walking around on the weekend I came across a place called Cookie Jar and thought the concept was similar to these cookies I had seen on social media. We ordered some to try but, sadly, we were met with the typical crunchy, very sweet tasting cookie, even for a person with a sweet tooth like me.
I thought the place was decorated super nice, and they serve really good coffee, so that was my favorite thing about my visit. I'm still craving for new york type cookies but my expectations are getting higher and higher 😅Lastly, I think we could prepare them at home since I've seen many recipes on the internet 👀 Are you up for it, @aurodivys?
