Daft Punk announced that a drumless edition of Random Access Memories will be released as part of the album's 10th anniversary celebrations. According to the statement, the reworked edition of the album will be released on November 17 and will completely rstrip away all drum and percussive elements from 13 tracks. They also released the percussion-free edition of 'Within' yesterday before the album's release.
Daft Punk was a French electronic music duo founded in Paris in 1993 by Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo. They achieved popularity in the late 1990s as part of the French house movement, combining elements of house music with funk, disco, techno, rock and synth-pop. Daft Punk was formed after the breakup of indie rock band Darlin'. Daft Punk have garnered acclaim and commercial success and are regarded as one of the most influential acts in dance music. Daft Punk released their last album, Random Access Memories, in 2013 and the album received great acclaim. The Random Access Memories album is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and Daft Punk will release drumless edition of Random Access Memories on November 17 as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations. I love the piano in the opening section of the song. It's truly wonderful and calming. The new version of the song highlights its "timeless structure" while lending Chilly Gonzales' piano an even more "thoughtful, self-reflective quality".
The drumless edition of Random Access Memories will be released on November 17, and is currently on pre-sale. The record will be released on CD, Double LP and digital formats including a Dolby Atmos spatial audio version.
