Hello everyone π,
Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my world π. Just another ordinary Sunday and the stepping continued unabated. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this dayπ―,many wanted to see it but didn't, so we are all blessed. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on π¨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze π as I made my way around the neighborhood π². But it was a short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some groceries. Next came the refreshing napπ€. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news, No matches of the world today, its coming back on Tuesday. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept goingπΉ., politicians attended church services with the same usual talk. Tomorrow is independence day, so people are having an extended weekend.
Globally, another messy day in Ukraine, bombing around Kherson killed two people π. Down in Odessa the port stopped working as Russia yesterday used drones to target energy facilities π. Luckily two other ports are working as grain exports need to go through. Up in the east fighting intensified around Bakmut.
Elsewhere tensions between Kosovo and Serbia reared their ugly head. There was overnight violence as protesters blocked roadsπ.
Across the pond in Peru, the newly sworn in president unveiled a new cabinet, meanwhile supporters of her predecessor continued with protests asking that he be released immediately π.
Trending in the US, the FBI have arrested a Libyan man thought to be responsible for making the bomb that brought down a PanAm aircraft over Lockerbie in Scotland in 1988π. That crash killed 270 peopleπ.He will be arraigned in a court in Washington.
Finally, NASA'S orion capsule returned to earth after test flight to the π moon. The unscrewed capsule splashed down in the Pacific ocean bringing to a close its historic 25 day mission. It was carrying a simulated crew of three mannequins wired with sensors πΉ.All safe on landingππ. Two humans expected to make a similar journey in 2025 and walk on the moon π.
Anyways, let's touch base again tomorrow on an awesome Monday π. Until then keep stepping and enjoying your weekend π.That's it, stay safe, take care and good bye πππ Hakuna Matata π.
