I would have liked to write a post before leaving, unfortunately I wasn't able to and afterwards I preferred to dedicate myself, after Samuele's visit, to our "mini holiday".
In any case, I'm here now and I'll give you a nice summary of these days spent with the family in total relaxation...Of course there are also many beautiful photos!
We left Friday morning at around three, as you can see from the cover image before leaving I went to wash our carriage!
Both the outward and return journey went relatively well, our puppy certainly traveled comfortably and slept well in the mini car box that I designed just for him...
There was certainly no lack of space for him to play when he was awake and in fact on this occasion he enjoyed the journey itself much more... I must admit that I was very ingenious!
Samuele's checks went very well, now we will have to return in August and September and then, almost certainly, in October he will carry out the operation; after the meeting with the doctors we immediately moved to Anguillara Sabazia, a small village located on Lake Bracciano... I'll now show you some images of our room, tell me if it isn't fantastic, let's start from the entrance!
Immediately upon entering, there was an anteroom where you could leave your shoes and the bathroom in front...
As you can imagine from the details, the room is inspired by a typical Japanese accommodation and for this reason it is called Japanroom...
In reality we are talking about a real apartment, before entering the main room in fact you passed through another room which I loved and which sooner or later I will also make in our house...
Needless to say, the hydromassage tub was fully exploited, in the afternoon we had a nice relaxing bath together with Reny and Samuele and in the evening, after everyone fell asleep I enjoyed a bit of relaxation alone; on the other side of the room, in addition to the shower, there is access to a small balcony...
Once you enter the bedroom you immediately find a fake fireplace, which however is quite realistic and really "ambient" among other things, as we also have a similar one at home, I can't say enough good things about it, loool!
The fireplace was dominated by a 55-inch television including all services such as Netflix and Prime Video...
And followed by a fish fry, let's say I kept it light eh eh!
In the room there was also a corner where you could have breakfast...
And a very picturesque corner in which to have lunch or dinner if you decide to order room service...
To conclude, the bed, again in Japanese style, which as you can see Samuele really liked... It was actually very comfortable!
For dinner we moved to Bracciano, we ate at the "Trattoria del Castello", highly recommended!
Opening with a fantastic platter of zero kilometer products...
As a first course I had pici carbonara and truffle, a little salty but really good; for second I had a classic Roman roll with sauce... but that disappeared before being photographed!
To conclude a classic Tiramisu...
On Saturday we moved to Fonte Nuova to stay with some dear friends, but first we always had lunch in Bracciano, all based on fish; mussels as an appetizer...
Before arriving at our destination we stopped for a while at the "Euroma 2" shopping center, we needed some things and we took advantage of the opportunity to enjoy an hour of air conditioning since it was dying of heat outside!
In the evening, after having taken a nice stroll in Fonte Nuova, we dedicated ourselves to the grill...
And this is the result...
We were scheduled to return on Sunday but, since I prefer to drive in the evening or better yet at night, we decided to stop at Ikea! We obviously had lunch there and Samuele seems to have enjoyed it...
He also became very fond of shopping... Although more than anything he liked going around Ikea on the trolley instead of the stroller.
I believe the love of shopping runs in the family; as we walked around the various departments I reflected on the fact that Ikea really is absolute evil, when you go out you always have a trolley full of stuff and you never understand how this could have happened!
We arrived in Reggio Calabria around midnight, the journey was peaceful even if at a certain point the car headlights stopped working, nothing serious, simply the light bulbs burned out; Of course it really takes a lot of luck for the bulbs in both headlights to burn out but, being the farsighted person that I am, I had the spare ones with me along with a few fuses (you never know what can happen) and within a few minutes we fixed it.
I must admit that when we leave for checks I always feel a little anxious given that my son, together with my wife, is my whole life; this time too the doctors were very happy and things seem to be continuing in the right direction; to be honest, despite the thoughts, they were beautiful days.
When you are with your family time passes quickly and happily, as I see it there is no better way to spend your time, it's true happiness!

Avrei voluto scrivere un post prima della partenza, purtroppo non ci sono riuscito e dopo ho preferito dedicarmi, successivamente la visita di Samuele, alla nostra "mini vacanza".
In ogni caso adesso sono qui e Ti farò un bel riassunto di questi giorni passati in famiglia nel totale relax...Naturalmente ci sono anche tante belle foto!
Siamo partiti Venerdì mattina alle tre circa, come puoi vedere dall'immagine di copertina prima della partenza sono andato a lavare la nostra carrozza!
Sia il viaggio di andata che quello di ritorno sono trascorsi relativamente bene, sicuramente il nostro cucciolo ha viaggiato comodo e dormito bene nel mini box da auto che ho improntato solo per lui...
Non gli è certo mancato lo spazio per giocare quando era sveglio e infatti in questa occasione si è goduto molto di più anche il viaggio stesso... Devo ammettere di essere stato molto ingegnoso!
I controlli di Samuele sono andati molto bene, ora dovremo tornare ad Agosto e a Settembre e dopo, quasi sicuramente, a ottobre effettuerà l'intervento; dopo l'incontro con i medici ci siamo trasferiti subito ad Anguillara Sabazia, paesino che si trova sul lago di Bracciano... Ti farò vedere ora un po' di immagini della nostra camera, dimmi se non è fantastica, partiamo dall'entrata!
Subito, entrando, era presente un'anticamera dove lasciare le scarpe e di fronte il bagno...
Come si può intuire dai dettagli la stanza è ispirata a un tipico alloggio giapponese e proprio per questo motivo si chiama Japanroom...
In realtà parliamo di un vero e proprio appartamento, prima di accedere alla camera principale infatti si attraversava un'altra stanza che io ho adorato e che prima o poi realizzerò anche a casa nostra...
Inutile dire che la vasca idromassaggio è stata sfruttata a pieno, nel pomeriggio abbiamo fatto un bel bagnetto rilassante insieme a Reny e Samuele e la sera, dopo che tutti si sono addormentati mi sono goduto un po' di relax da solo; dall'altra parte della stanza oltre alla doccia c'è l'accesso a un piccolo balconcino...
Entrati nella stanza da letto subito si trova un finto camino, che però è abbastanza realistico e fa davvero "ambient" tra l'altro, avendolo anche noi a casa simile, non posso che parlane bene, loool!
Il camino era sovrastato da una televisione 55 pollici comprensiva di tutti i servizi come Netflix e Prime Video...
Nella stanza erano inoltre presenti un angolo in cui fare colazione...
E un angolo, molto pittoresco, in cui pranzare o cenare qualora si fosse deciso di ordinare il servizio in camera...
Per concludere il lettone, sempre in stile giapponese, che come puoi notare è piaciuto molto a Samuele... Effettivamente era comodissimo!
Per cena ci siamo spostati a Bracciano, abbiamo mangiato alla "Trattoria del Castello", consigliatissima!
Apertura con un fantastico tagliere di prodotti tutti a chilometro zero...
Come primo io ho preso dei pici alla carbonara e tartufo, un po' salati ma davvero buoni; per secondo ho preso un classico involtino romano al sugo... quello però è sparito prima di essere fotografato!
Per concludere un classico Tiramisù...
Sabato ci siamo trasferiti a Fonte Nuova da alcuni cari amici, prima però abbiamo pranzato sempre a Bracciano, tutto a base di pesce; come antipasto delle cozze...
E a seguire una fritturina di pesce, diciamo che mi sono mantenuto leggero eh eh!
Prima di arrivare a destinazione ci siamo fermati un po' al centro commerciale "Euroma 2", ci necessitavano alcune cose e abbiamo sfruttato l'occasione per goderci un oretta di aria condizionata visto che fuori si moriva di caldo!
La sera, dopo aver fatto un bel giretto a Fonte Nuova, ci siamo dedicati alla griglia...
E questo è il risultato...
Domenica era previsto il rientro ma, visto che io preferisco guidare la sera o meglio ancora la notte, abbiamo deciso di fermarci all'Ikea! Abbiamo ovviamente pranzato lì e Samuele sembra aver gradito...
Si è appassionato molto anche allo shopping... Anche se più che altro gli è piaciuto andare in giro per l'Ikea sul carrello invece che sul passeggino.
Credo che l'amore per lo shopping sia un tratto di famiglia; mentre giravamo tra i vari reparti riflettevo sul fatto che l'Ikea è davvero il male assoluto, quando esci hai sempre un carrello pieno di roba e non si capisce mai come sia potuto succedere!
Siamo arrivati a Reggio Calabria verso mezzanotte, il viaggio è stato tranquillo anche se a un certo punto i fari dell'auto hanno smesso di funzionare, nulla di grave semplicemente si sono fulminate le lampadine; certo ci vuole davvero tanta fortuna perché si fulminino le lampadine di entrambi i fari ma, da persona previdente quale sono, avevo con me quelle di riserva insieme a un po' di fusibili (non si sa mai quello che può succedere) e in pochi minuti abbiamo risolto.
Devo ammettere che quando partiamo per i controlli mi sento sempre un po' in ansia visto che mio Figlio è, insieme a mia moglie, tutta la mia Vita; anche questa volta i medici sono stati molto contenti e le cose sembrano proseguire nel verso giusto; a essere sincero nonostante i pensieri sono stati dei giorni bellissimi.
Quando sei insieme alla Tua famiglia il tempo scorre veloce e in allegria, per come la vedo io non c'è modo migliore per spendere il proprio tempo, è vera felicità!
