Prony is what they called Albur's star, one of the municipality of Bohol short for Alburquerque where this phyton was captive.

I'd only heard of this Phyton in Cebu, but I never expected it to be so big.

They kept its bones and Prony's memory in this sanctuary, along with other kinds of snakes.

I was terrified when I saw this man hugging the snake with its head so close to him! I can't believe it! 😂😂

It was my first time ever touching a snake. The sensation is both frightening and exciting. I really felt the muscle, and its scale is very shiny.

Of course, we had to take a picture with Prony before leaving the sanctuary.

Can you imagine how big Prony was when he was alive? I've only seen snakes that big in movies, which I assumed were just computerized at the time. In reality, it was quite frightening.

According to the source, this church is built out of coral stones and is one of the oldest church stones in the Philippines which was built by Jesuits in 1596.

It was truly beautiful inside, they have an old wishing well just at the middle outside part of the church.

It was my first time seeing a wishing well this old. A very historic one.

This trip has made me want to return to Bohol to discover and try new things. They still have other old churches there, just like this one, but we were running out of time to take short side trips. In the next part, I'll show you where we stayed for the night and what made our day in Bohol awesome. I get it. Bohol has a lot of fun and surprises.

Please don't give up on me. We're not yet done.😂 See you in part 5!
