Nature doesn't need people - people need nature; nature would survive the extinction of the human being and go on just fine, but human culture, human beings, cannot survive without nature.

- Harrison Ford -

Nature and the planet we live on is something I care about; everyone should I guess. The problem is that we tend to overuse it, ask more from it than it can possibly give, and simply don't give enough back in large enough quantities to help sustain a healthy and viable balance between our needs as humans and its needs as a planet. Having said that, it'll keep doing what it does, evolving and changing, and will one day simply cease to exist at all; that's just how it is. I think human beings will be long gone by then, like the dinosaurs are gone, destroyed by nature itself and after-effects of a Mt Everest-sized asteroid that struck the Earth some 66 million years ago.

Humans will be extinct and the planet will keep doing what it does.

We're not gone yet though and the current generation has the chance to enjoy nature and our planet even though we treat it like a garbage tip and never-ending resource.

Last week I decided to share out some of my Ecency points in exchange for a little posting-effort in the outdoors and more community by whomever decided to get involved - today I've transferred those points and wanted to share the content.

Each of those users below received 2,500 Ecency points.
