"OMG....Is this is the outcome of my hard work? I don't know who is doing this. Awww...my babies..I wish I could see you fully blooming."
Jumeira said this, while she wiped her tears with a bunch of buds in her hand. Someone plucked them in the veil of night. Jumeira was a tall girl with curly hair. She was only 6 when she lost her mother in a car accident. Now she was living with her father. She grew up without her mother's love, so she was very sensitive. Gardening was her favorite hobby, so she had reserved a piece of land in her house to grow different kinds of flowers and vegetables.
Jumeria was used to taking care of plants she had grown in her garden. So it was heartbreaking for her to see the little buds scattered in her garden. In the evening, when her father came back from his work, Jumeria ran to him and told him what happened to her plants. Her father was a very gentle man, he used to show great affection to his daughter after her mother's death.
" O My little girl....please don't cry, It will grow again." He said this to alleviate her.
" Dad! But what about these little buds, which are plucked so mercilessly? I don't know, why people are so heartless. "
Jumeria spent the whole day mourning this loss as she had some emotional connection with her plants. The next day, her father brought her to the nursery to buy some new plants. All he wanted, was to make his daughter happy again. Jumeira was happy to buy new plants as this was the only thing that could make her happy.
"OMG...Dad! Just look at this little plant! Isn't it so cute?"
He was happy to see the smile on the face of his daughter. Jumeria was taking care of her garden with the same enthusiasm. After she off from school, she was used to spending most of her time in the garden watering the plants and taking care of them. After a few weeks, Jumeria woke up and got ready for school, but she decided to take a round in the garden as it was her habit to visit her garden in the morning. But Jumeria was shocked by what she saw in her garden. Most of the plants were crushed badly and every plant was cut off from roots.
Jumeira ran to her father and told him the whole situation. She was crying badly to see her loss. Her father was also shocked at this. He said,
" I think someone is doing it deliberately. But who could do this cheap act?"
"Dad! I will not forgive the one who did this!" Jumeria replied.
" I think we should place a hidden camera to find the culprit. "
The next day, he went to buy a camera which was placed in a hidden place in the garden. They also brought some new plants and Jumeria started to take care of them again. Few weeks passed, and Jumeira woke up as usual to visit her garden and she was shocked to see her garden as it was destroyed again. She ran to her father to inform him, but this time everything was being recorded in the hidden camera. When Jumeira's father checked the CCTV footage, he was amazed to know the culprit. She was Kim(who lived next to their door).
Kim and Jumeria were classmates and Jumeria was always used to getting good marks in her exams. But this was unbearable for Kim, so she was doing this out of jealousy. Jumeria's father decided to talk to her mom. He went to her house with the CCTV footage. Her mother was embarrassed at this bad act of her daughter and she gave her hot blows in her anger.
"I was not expecting this from you! You have ruined my name. I will not forgive you." She said to Kim and also apologized to Jumeria and her father.
"Sorry, My dear Jumeria! I am ashamed of her reckless behavior, but I promise she won't commit this act again."
She also asked her daughter to apologize to Jumeria. So they forgave Kim and decided to put bars around the garden.
