This is my first post in this community that was suggested to me by my friend @mamaemigrante and I find it great because this community was unknown to me, a Venezuelan currently living in beautiful Argentina.
Mi hermana mayor, Alondra, actualmente está viviendo en La Lucila, no hace mucho que se mudó y me parece genial porque así hago planes para visitarla y conocer un poco más. Me gusta mucho donde vive, además de que está muy cerca del gran Río Vicente Lopez y es muy bonito.
My older sister, Alondra, is currently living in La Lucila, not long ago she moved and I find it great because this way I make plans to visit her and get to know her a little more. I like where she lives, plus it is very close to the great Vicente Lopez River and it is very pretty.

Hace días, una amiga volvía de visitar a su familia, se fue desde diciembre y volvió recién, así que improvisamos un rico desayuno en La Costanera de Vicente Lopez, para darle un lindo recibimiento y poder charlar con ella sobre todo.
A few days ago, a friend of mine came back from visiting her family, she had been gone since December and just returned, so we improvised a delicious breakfast at La Costanera of Vicente Lopez to give her a nice welcome and chat with her about everything.
Mi hermana, Alondra, compró unas ricas facturas, hizo chocolatada y yo me encargué de preparar un delicioso budín de zanahoria con chocolate semi amargo de naranja y nuez, que según mis invitados quedó muy bueno, humildemente jaja🤣.

Me gusta mucho esta zona, porque como su nombre lo indica, es un gran paseo de la costa, lleno de áreas verdes para poder caminar y frente a todo está el gran río, donde muchas familias se reúnen a pescar y pasar un buen rato.
Aunque estamos en verano, este día amaneció bastante fresco y con brisa, así que pudimos estar sentados en los al rededores del río sin morirnos de calor.
I like this area because as its name suggests, it is a great walk along the coast, full of green areas to walk and in front of everything is the great river, where many families gather to fish and have a good time.
Although we were in summer, this day dawned quite cool and breezy, so we were able to sit around the river without dying of heat.
Estar aquí, quedarme en silencio y apreciar el gran río, me hace sentir un poco nostálgica, pues tengo casi 3 años en la hermosa ciudad de Buenos Aires, que me ha dado la bienvenida siempre y este río ha presenciado muchos cambios de mi vida y supongo, de la de millones de personas.
Being here, staying in silence and appreciating the great river, makes me feel a little nostalgic because I have almost 3 years in the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, which has always welcomed me and this river has witnessed many changes in my life and I guess, in the lives of millions of people.
Algo que me gusta mucho de aquí son este tipo de planes tranquilos, solo sentarse a hablar, apreciar o comer algo rico, es algo que he notado que hacen mucho los argentinos y soy fan.
Después de desayunar y chismear con nuestra amiga sobre qué tal se encontraba nuestro país, al que no vamos desde hace casi 3 años ya, notamos que empezó a hacerse más tarde y por ende, el sol empezó a calentar más, así que decidimos volver a casa de mi hermana.

Something that I like a lot here is this kind of quiet plan, just sit and talk, appreciate or eat something delicious, which is something I've noticed that Argentines do a lot and I'm a fan.
After breakfast and gossiping with our friend about how our country was doing, which we haven't been to for almost 3 years now, we noticed that it started to get later and therefore the sun started to get hotter, so we decided to go back to my sister's house.
Thank you Argentina, for such beautiful spaces and for being my home. ♡
