This place is a must-visit site if you are in Cape Town. The journey there is a gorgeous experience itself.

This is a beautiful spot to visit and well worth the trip of you are visiting the Cape Town area. It's a bit of a drive getting here from Cape Town, but the park itself is beautiful (but do NOT feed the baboons!). I highly recommend climbing the hill to the lighthouse, where you get some stunning views of the ocean. Really cool nature park, but you need to go with you car to be able to see everything!! Winter is very windy make sure that you wear warm clothes!! The coolest part when you are driving in the park is that you will be able to see some wild animals walking around !! It's a beautiful place and of you can go with time because is really fun to explore everything and the sunset is amazing.

This place is a must-visit site if you are in Cape Town. The journey there is a gorgeous experience itself, whether you come from Simon's Town or via Chapman's Peak, either route is incredibly scenic and photogenic. The reserve itself is large, with numerous beaches, hikes, drives and attractions.

Do go on the funicular at least once, or take your camera and enjoy the views as you walk up to the old lighthouse. The walk to the new, lower lighthouse is well worth it after you visit the old lighthouse.

Below the old lighthouse is a short path with an WW2 old radar station outpost that was removed some time back.

This is a photographer's paradise, and worth more than one visit.

I have only SUPERB good memories of awesome Cape Town, including the trip to fabulous Cape of Good Hope.
We booked a bike tour through our hostel (can't remember the name of the company though, but no worries, anything goes...they will all bring you to PARADISE :)), and, the 2 wheels option, turned out to be the best choice.

Since the National Park is a bit outside the city, a van (which was included in the tour) came to the hostel to pick us up and, in about 20 minutes, we found ourselves in this super gorgeous place. Then the real bike tour started. Wondering around pure nature, with the ocean breeze, stunning beaches and rocky cliffs, surrounded by bright colors...and, cherry on top of this delicious cake, we met a group of ostriches that were having a great time, sitting on the beach. You could tell from their happy faces, that they were having a great time, enjoying the superb view and the ocean breeze. Maybe the world´s luckiest ostriches :).

In theory here it´s where the Indian and the Atlantic Ocean meet each other. even though I read somewhere that this is not true. Whatever the truth is, no worries, you will enjoy your trip to Cape of Good Hope with or without the Indian Ocean :).
