HOW TO MAKE PLANT-BASED FRESH MILK

MILK

From now on I guarantee you that you will never buy milk again. I show you how to prepare an authentic plant based one, fresh every morning, with any type of dried fruit and seed. Its simple!!!

All you have to do is:

• ACTIVATE a cup of nuts or seeds of your choice by soaking them for 8/12 hours
• with a blender, blend them with 3 to 4 cups of water.

To make a delicious almond milk it is necessary to soak them for about 12 hours so that the inhibitor enzymes contained in their skin are released. Rinse them well under running water and proceed with the preparation. Brazil nuts and walnuts do not contain the inhibitor enzymes and therefore it is not essential to soak them. Also, since they are rather oily nuts they will be chopped by the blender more easily than almonds. And that's why they can be an option for a "last minute" milk if you need to prepare it without having previously planned it. On this last minute occasion, my favorites are hemp seeds. However, it is recommended to activate dried fruits and seeds in general and in the next pages I will explain you why.

• Blend until completely chopped.
• Place a “nut milk bag” in a bowl and pour into it the liquid. Close the bag with the lanyard, then squeeze it with your clean hands letting the milk drop into the bowl.

Fresh milk can be stored in the refrigerator for about 3 days. The pulp left in the bag can be stored in the freezer for a long time, or it can be used fresh or dried as a flour. Please let me know on the comments below how your experiments with the home made fresh milk was.
