On route to the Point Reyes National Seashore lighthouse. At time this road felt like it was going on forever, knowing you’ve got to go back the other way can be pretty challenging. Every easy downhill made slightly harder to enjoy knowing it turns into a dreaded uphill on the return journey.
Cycling has taught me many things, not least of all that everything is better when you’ve worked for it. It’s funny because even knowing that truth it’s easy to wind up wanting everything to go in your favour, forgetting it wouldn’t be worth anything if it did.
