The origin of this cocktail has nothing to do with Moscow or mules, but after a few sips of this vodka, ginger beer, and lime concoction, who cares!
Moscow mule is a delicious cocktail made with vodka, spicy ginger beer, and lime juice, garnished with a slice or wedge of lime.
This cocktail is what is known as a buck and therefore sometimes known as a vodka buck. Generally, the Moscow Mule is served in a copper mug.
INGREDIENTS :
45ml Vodka, 120ml Ginger beer, 5ml Lime juice
PREPARATION :
Combine vodka and ginger beer in a copper mug or highball glass filled with ice.
Add lime juice.
Stir gently and garnish with a lime slice, (optional: we added a few blackberries and some mint for fun!)
SERVED:
On the rocks; poured over ice.
