The Day in the Life of a NCAA, Health, Fitness Coach and Entrepreneur.
7:30am- Rise and Shine, Everyday’s a gift.
Up bright and early to get the day started, my brother and I jumped on the Metra train to head into the city.
9:00am –Arrive in Chicago- City Girl at heart
10:00am- Breakfast at the Langham Hotel
With a spread of delicious treats, discipline to stick to eating for my goals was in the cards for me today. Now don’t get me wrong, I do often treat myself to a delicious doughnut; but today I stuck with something simple. A protein shake to replenish my macro nutrients, a Late to give me a little extra boost, and some grapefruit juice to get my metabolism going.
11:00am- Fit & Fab Photo-shoot
The first step to promoting the launch of my Sonrise Coaching business is showing my following the love I have for dedicating consistent time and effort into my health. Branding and Marketing is a huge part of any business, but I am especially excited to show others the joy I experience through good nutrition and fitness with these photos!
12:00pm Freeze Frame
Just a few sample pictures of some of the amazing shots @joeparys got in the city. Under 10 degrees, smiling was a challenge
1:00pm – Lunch Date in the Loop
2:00pm- Time to Work
4:00pm – No Days OFF
Workout Twerkout: I usually am one to get my workout done early in the day, but due to the morning schedule we decided to do a quick 30 min HIIT workout at the Langham Hotel.
5:00 Spoiled with the Spa
Beautiful hot stone chairs, 2 types of saunas, and an exfoliating steam room. Relaxing is something I often forget to allow myself to do. Even when I am on vacation my mind is in work mode. It took an environment like this to really allow me to center myself and enjoy the moment. SELF LOVE can be the best kinda love.
7:00pm – Back to the Burbs for Family Time
- Being that I only get a limited time back in Chicago, spending it with my family is something I am always trying to do.
10:00pm – Beauty Sleep
I am sure you all have heard the saying, get your beauty sleep. Well this saying holds true for a lot of reasons. 1- getting 7-8 hours of sleep is huge in terms of weight loss. 2- we need a proper amount of time for muscles to restore for physical activity 3- Yes when we are well rested the best features in us come out. Now I am not a sleep specialist, but I know what its like to not get enough sleep or have trouble sleeping. It really does play a large role into our daily lives.
*That was my day. A great one to be exact. Thank you all for being apart of my journey. I am thrilled to continue to share my passions, education, and experiences with this awesome community.
The bet is yet to come.
xoxo
