Yesterday's post was looking east. Today I'm facing west and you can see some of downtown Long Beach in the background. It wasn't too hot but the bright sun is just not enjoyable anymore for me. I'm hoping

Finally I'm able to hold up my camera and today I stuck it out and got some shots I have been dreaming of. The weird part is even though these are really exciting for me they won't interest anyone else.

Feels good with my feet in water and soft sand

I did get a few pretty good ones. There were a couple of fires going on in so cal too. They always seem to happen now with every Santa Ana. Coastal flooding and erosion going on as well.

It's a little reference to when I had a stone lithography class in college in the 90's The range go black to grey you can get in that process is amazing. This is sumi ink on water color with no printing

Heavy equipment working to to save the Long Beach peninsula homes from flooding
