A twilight that stirs the imagination. Have you ever been in a deep, dense forest at night? No, I don’t mean casual night walks; there is little pleasure in those, and they carry risks—ranging from encounters

One cannot grasp the ungraspable—but where is the limit? There is a wise saying, "One cannot grasp the ungraspable," yet no one has provided precise instructions on how to do so; there is no

“So, as we grow up, we learn we are not God and so we have to expect some things to not work out.”

A festive kind of chill in the soul. When people speak of someone having a "coldness in their soul," it usually bodes ill; the phrase describes those who lack empathy for the suffering or harbor

“OK, so did going through the Arc of Triumph in Paris make you more triumphant, Dad? Because if it did, we need to get up on that.”

Something lies beneath the foliage. "Look to the root"—so goes the famous aphorism urging us not to seek solutions on the surface, but to strive to see beyond what is immediately visible. If

In my village, there was a fence no one was allowed to cross. It was behind Mama Nkechi's compound, made of old bambooo and palm leavees, but everyonee said if you lookedd over it, you would see somethinng

A tough choice. Do you like situations where you have to choose between one thing and another? I’ve never liked it—especially when I’m advised not to rush into a decision. It could be something as simple

A good thought that came too late. There is a wise yet humorous saying for people like me—those who sometimes act hastily under the pressure of circumstances—that goes something like this: "A good
