Guardians of Lyra (Fiction)

Guardians of Lyra 01 - Fiction Story by Krisz Rokk

The portal opened up, and a beautiful blue sapphire sphere came through. A door slid, and two majestic blue Lyran Felines stepped out into the vastness of the Veda galaxy. Their warrior mindset, skills, and abilities were feared throughout the multiverse.

The two galactic titans approached a rose-golden pyramid and were greeted amicably by the beings surrounding the proximity.

“I asked for an army, and what do I get? Two Felines. Ezra must be joking.” The Queen sighed while she straightened her dress covered in rose petals. Her wings turned slightly to the side as she walked firmly towards the newly arrived guests.

“Your Majesty, Queen Mira.”

Before continuing the conversation, the warriors connected telepathically with the Queen to ensure her DNA had not been tempered with. This procedure was a key ingredient of their Lyran protocol, differentiating them from other galactic soldiers.

The queen nodded, and a stream of diamond light came out of her heart and went straight into the Feline’s third eye. The Lyrans quickly decoded the informational download and responded politely.

“Your Majesty, Admiral Ezra asked us to train your teams on the latest sound and light weaponry to increase your ability to protect and defend yourself from intruders. As soon as we’ve completed our mission, we will depart.”

“I guess losing part of your constellation to the Reptilians served your species well. It made you stronger.”

Queen Mira turned around and walked away. She was a wise butterfly, very strategic in her approach, and unapologetically straightforward with strangers.

“She’s really something,” murmured Xandor on his way back to the blue sapphire sphere.

“I thought Ezra was exaggerating. In and out, bro. Let’s prep their folks and get out of here.”

Suddenly, they noticed a thin orange stream of light hitting the sphere from the side and immediately returning to its origin.

“Run. Run.”

Xandor deactivated the shield, and both stepped inside the sphere. The mainframe displayed a message. It was from Admiral Ezra and read as follows:

“We are under attack. They followed your trace. Veda is in danger. Stay there and protect the galaxy until further notice.”

“Your Majesty, you need to join us inside the sphere. You’re exposed in the pyramid, and we can’t guarantee your safety. Please come now.”

“You and your kaleidoscopic chromium shields. Why didn’t you build one on top of my beautiful pyramid? Why do I need to hide in your vehicle? My dragons will join me.”

“Sure, but they’ll have to stay outside the sphere. No altered DNA is allowed inside the premises of our blue sapphire realm.”

“This is getting weirder and weirder. Connect me with Ezra. Now!”

*****

“Mira, it’s been a while.”

“Ezra? What is going on?”

“I sent you two of my best guardians. You can thank them later for saving your life.”

“What? Is this a bad joke? Have you lost your mind?”

“Mira, before father left us, he taught me to create holographic structures using the highest frequency. He invented this technology and didn’t want to give it to other species. We are inside a holographic piece shielded by a pyramid on top of a cube and a sphere. From the outside, it appears to be a blue sapphire sphere, but in reality, it’s a hologram.”

Mira looked at Ezra mesmerized while activating her wings with a violet frequency. It was her defense mechanism she deployed whenever she felt awkward.

“That won’t work in here, Mira. You have to listen to me. I protected you and Mom all this time, but now you need to know the truth.”

“Ezra, who are you? Why all this secrecy?”

“I look like a Lyran Feline, but underneath, I’m a butterfly like you and Mom. Dad’s technology has enabled me to help the Lyrans who had to flee from Draco’s devastation. I’ve built one of the strongest armies in the multiverse, a fierce and ferocious group of brave soldiers ready to fight against entities from lower vibrational realms. Somehow, they found out about the technology I’m using, and now they’re coming after our family.”

“Where is Mom?”

“She is on Sirius B. My guardians are watching over her, too. Xando and Randall will escort you to Sirius B as well. Once they find out that you left Veda, they won’t be interested in this galaxy any longer.”

“What about you Ez? Will you join us on Sirius B, too?”

“Later. I need to find Dad.”

*****

“Catch those bastards and bring them to me. I’m sick and tired of being fooled by these tiny butterflies running the show.”

“Yes Sir, Your Majesty. We are transferring our troops to Veda. We located the two youngsters there.”

A small May bug was listening to the conversation between King Draco the 13th and the Captain, smiling from cheek to cheek and softly murmuring to himself: “You will never find and capture my family, you evil being.”

“What did you just say?” shouted Draco from the top of his Reptilian lungs.

“Nothing, Your Majesty. I was awaiting further instructions and your permission to leave.”

“Hm.”

The May bug walked away and hid behind the wall, feeling at ease. “I’m proud of you, son.”
