Scholar and Scribe and Dreemport are proud to announce a brand spanking new event for August: The Late Days of Summer Hold your excitement, I know. š± We have collaborated with Dreemport in the past but this is the first time we are trying out this type of event. I hope you all leave us your feedback and tell us if you would like something similar in the future! š

This event will run 3 weeks, 3 contests all centered around one theme. We have over 30 Hive in prize money for the entire event - not to mention a lot of tokens. The thematic undertones are that of joy, sun, and sweat, with each week's prompt highlighting a new aspect of the Late Days of Summer. š

Note: The judges will consider the votes, but the winners will ultimately be decided by the quality of their writing and how well they incorporate the prompt. - All languages are welcome but MUST include an English translation;

A night set betwixt the two seasons - a night to remember. Once the leaves have reached full bloom they start to fade, and like all things, leave this world. For the last week of this challenge, we invite you to write about a magical night sending off the scorching summer, while inviting the chilly autumn. But of course, the emphasis has to be on summer, as that is the thematic throughput for this event. āļø
