A weekend trip in the cool valleys of Lonavala

My greetings to all my friends. Friends, the day before yesterday, Saturday, was a weekend holiday, and we had gone to a very beautiful place. My brother and his children were also insisting that we should go there.

Friends, Lonavala is a very beautiful place, located just one hour away from Mumbai. There are very beautiful hills and a cool, pure, and natural environment there. Pune city is two hours away from there. And because it is close to Mumbai, many people come to visit here.

It is famous as a place with a cool breeze. Many people come here to visit in the summer. We reached Lonavala by train on Saturday morning itself. There was fog in the morning due to the cold. It was a very beautiful environment.

A friend of my brother has a hotel there, so we stayed there. There is also a very ancient temple of Ekvira Devi on top of the hill. After having darshan there, we roamed in the hills there. The children enjoyed it a lot. As the hotel is well known, we got very good service. We stayed for a day on Saturday and left for home at 9 am on Sunday. We reached home in an hour.

While roaming there, we felt a little relieved from the daily hustle and bustle. The children enjoyed playing and roaming a lot. Now that I am writing a blog, my office routine will start tomorrow. This weekend was very beautiful. Thanks for reading.
