My little girl was not as nervous as in other occasions, she even explored the store and looked through the glass of the living room. Although as time went by she started to get a little upset, we noticed that when she entered the doctor's office, she became a little aggressive with him, something that did not happen the first time, when he went to check her, she yelled at him (she snorted repeatedly), and hit the doctor (she scratched him several times), she usually does not behave like that, but I imagine that she was under such constant stress, plus the multiple outings and she is not used to it, that it is normal for her to behave that way.
Hola queridos hivers y a la bella comunidad de HivePets, hoy me encuentro por acá para actualizarlos un poco sobre la evolución de mi niña gatuna "Shira" 🐱🐾💕. Hace aproximadamente 20 días realice un post contando la situación angustiante de mi chiquita, y las primeras visitas al veterinario el cual me dio varios escenarios de lo que podría estar pasando.

Mi hija fue la que me acompaño a llevarla a la consulta, la espera fue algo larga ya que a el Dr. le van muchos pacientes peluditos, mientras esperaba aproveche de sacar algunas fotitos, con mi niña, y hasta una de las dueñas de la tienda poso espontáneamente cuando vio que sacaba las fotos, y como no, ella conoce a mi niña desde que cabía en mi mano ya que fue el sitio donde la lleve por primera vez al llegar a mi vida, allá le tienen mucho cariño, están pendientes de su evolución y se han portado muy bien con nosotros.
Mi niña en la espera no estuvo tan nerviosa como en otras ocasiones, hasta se dedicó a explorar la tienda y a ver por el vidrio de la salita de estar. Aunque a medida que fue pasando el tiempo se empezó a molestar un poco, eso lo notamos el ingresar al consultorio del Dr, ya que se tornó un poco agresiva con él, cosa que no paso la primera vez, cuando el la fue a revisar, lo grito (le bufo en reiteradas ocasiones), y le pego al Dr. (la lanzo varios arañazos), ella usualmente no se comporta así, pero me imagino que estado sometida a un stress tan constante, más las múltiples salidas y ella no está acostumbrada, que es normal que se comportara de esa manera.

Ahora los pongo un poco en contexto con respecto a la evolución de mi niña, el Dr. en la visita anterior sugirió seguir con todo el tratamiento, pero añadió un antibiótico tomado por 10 días, pasado ese tiempo note que casi no había variación en la lesión, al informarle al médico vía WhatsApp ya que nos hemos mantenido en contacto por allí, me hablo de pensar en hacerle los exámenes que me había sugerido para descartar un carcinoma, los cuales son sumamente costosos, la verdad se me vivo el mundo encima.
Pero les cuento que, por cosas de la vida, no pude llevarla a la revisión si no 3 días después, y cuál fue mi sorpresa, que la herida comenzó a secar, lo que causo bastante alivio y alegría tanto para mí como para el veterinario. Les dejo la foto para que puedan observar el progreso.

For the time being she is very active, a good eater, she is a little loose in her stomach which may cause her a little discomfort, I am giving her a prebiotic to reconstitute her intestinal flora and a gastric protector, but the antibiotics are very strong and the administration time has been quite long.

En resumen, aun el peligro no ha pasado, han sido días de angustia, de stress ante un tratamiento tan largo, y el administrar medicamentos a un animalito no es nada fácil, Shira a veces me la pone difícil, lo importante es que la lesión está mucho mejor, lo que espero es que desaparezca totalmente, luego de ello hay que mantenerla en observación, rogar que no reincida de ninguna manera, el Dr. no ha descartado los exámenes que me sugirió, aun así piensa que posiblemente lo que tenga es un herpes por alergias, estrés, y es el diagnostico final que todos queremos ya que libraría a mi niña de todo peligro ante una enfermedad terrible.
Por lo pronto ella se mantiene muy activa, comelona, está un poco floja del su estómago lo que puede causarle un poquito de molestia, le estoy dando un prebiótico para reconstituir su flora intestinal y un protector gástrico, pero los antibióticos son muy fuertes y el tiempo de administración ha sido bastante prolongado.
Ruego a Dios que toda esta situación pase y que tenga un final feliz, saben el amor tan grande que le tengo a mi pequeña, y no soportaría que pudiera pasarle algo, aparte no tengo los medios económicos para lidiar con un tratamiento de alto costo, si ni siquiera le he podido comprar la pipeta, he gastado mucho dinero en este proceso.
Estoy muy agradecida con el Dr. su nombre es Emil Colina, no solo ha tratado con todo el cariño del mundo a mi niña, si no que ha estado muy pendiente de ella hasta por mensajes, y he observado que así mismo trata a todos los peluditos que llegan allí, y así debe ser el notar tanto amor hacia los animales le dan el título que se merece por su verdadera vocación a su carrera de veterinario.
