Lexi really is the most gorgeous cat I have ever known. With her Siamese/wildcat/tabby breeding she really has grasped the best genes of all of them.

Generally, she prefers comfort over adventure, but that definitely turns around as we go into summer. It's still very cold at the moment, with snow on the mountains still being forecast almost halfway through spring! Things are still bitterly cold. And I'm glad! Because I know as soon as it warms up enough, adventurous Lexi will come out.

That's when she likes to go shopping at our surrounding neighbors looking for treats and fancy food!

For now, I'm enjoying the cuddles and the insistent talking as she comes up the stairs and announces her presence to us, and demands cuddles. It's like she's talking! That's definitely her mom's genes - the Siamese- coming through.

She's such a lovable cuddly girl when she wants to be. And she still has her winter coat on which makes her extra cuddly.

As soon as summer hits though, she'll be out and about, bringing us dead birds and making herself comfortable in other people's homes. Last year, she actually moved in with our neighbors! We didn't even know!

I just happened to look out of one of our upstairs windows after she'd been missing for almost two weeks and there she was just lying on their porch like she'd been there forever!

Cheeky Chops!
