The month of March is always special for me! I try to always live more relaxed this month, thinking about the spiritual, drawing conclusions and thanking God for my blessings! Why so? Because it's my birthday this month. And I heard this statement: as you live the month of your birth, so you will live a year.
This year I was swept away by the current, because I did not plan this trip, and the war pushed me on a journey that I call "unknown where, unknown how much ..." The journey began on March 1, when we crossed the border at night in Budapest! I stayed there for 12 days, and then we moved to another country and the journey continues...
And today I want to take a quick walk through those beautiful streets, squares and show you these fascinating historic houses, temples, bridges and views of the city on the banks of the Danube, which filled my soul with beauty ... Despite the war, I live and see and can thank God for the fact that he, as a loving father, saved my fragile soul from the horrors that are happening in my Ukraine.
These walks under the peaceful sky of Budapest helped me to distract from the news and focus on life, on relationships with my children. This is something we do not value so much on weekdays, always in a hurry and postponing life for tomorrow, drowning in the worries of our lives!
Budapest is a majestic, grand, historical territory that makes you admire and marvel at every step! My city of Lviv is similar in its architecture to Budapest, only the size of buildings and streets is much smaller. And there is also no river.
Enjoy architectural masterpieces with me. I felt protected and comfortable here among these historical giants, each of which has its own unique face. I like to look at stucco, towers on roofs and the shape of balconies. I like to stand for a long time and take photos from different angles, and my soul is filled with the grandeur and wisdom of past centuries. Honestly, I thought that this wisdom would be enough for humanity to have no more wars ...
My kids are thrilled too! They fell in love with Budapest as their second home. Especially memorable was the walk to the mysterious mountain on the other side of the Danube, which Darinka wrote about, on the side of the Buddha. We drove there across the Liberty Bridge. And then rode on Bird scooters :)
And later in the subway we went to the Fisherman's Bastion, where on our way there were many beautiful temples. And my daughters even looked through binoculars at the city on both sides of the Danube, where majestic historic buildings look so breathtaking in the setting sun!
Today, March 19, is my birthday. I live it with my children abroad for the first time in my life! I am grateful to God for his love and care!
And I pray that God will close the sky over Ukraine! Enough sacrifice!
