Come along with me on this #WALK around the #KUNGSHAGA HOTEL when we arrived. We will catch a stunning #SUNSET on their terrace in the late evening too. 🌅😊 It was the height of #SUMMER ☀️🐝 and we drove through several countries to bring our car back to Ireland (read the UK first), a longggg road trip. We had loads of fun…
Kungshaga hotel is located in #ORSA that lies in the beautiful #DALARNA COUNTY in #SWEDEN 🇸🇪

When we arrived we parked our car on the large parking 🅿️
Come along… as we walk towards the HOTEL 😊 we have this view. The accessories around it is cute. The rusty barrels 🛢️
Looking towards the parking 🅿️ we see a barn in the distance… it will be filled with tools and machinery for maintaining this hotel and its grounds.
Beautiful manicured lawns we find around the hotel 🏨 and a cute terrace to sit.
After we checked in, we walk of course around the hotel to explore where what is.
It has a large sitting area with a cosy fire place. Very #rustic 😊
The sofas look very comfy 🥰
Their attention for details and atmosphere is very good.

Looking towards the reception and staircase - entrance.
We walk further and end up in the dining room. I like the warm colours of the wood and the linen dark green table clothes.
At the end of this we see where the breakfast will be served in the morning. A buffet one can choose from many breakfast treats.

Walking through the buffet area we can walk outside to a very large terrace and bar area. Views towards the large #lake.
We capture some details. We walk off the terrace via long and wide steps…
We walk further around outside as it is a lovely day with sunshine ☀️
We discover this little cabin. Rhubarb next to it.
The front of it. By the looks of it, it is rather old. Cute all those accessories. Even outside they thought about what atmosphere they want to show, it ties all together.
We walked All the way around the hotel and its grounds. We end up at the parking again. This beautifully crafted DALARNA HORSE out of the tree trunk is stunning 🤩
More views in the distance. The hotel lies rather alone along the lake. No close by neighbours. So it is very quiet around. Just what we need for a good sleep 💤
We go inside to grab some coffees ☕️ come along 😊 we decided to sit under the little roof at the entrance. Inside we see this moose above me. 🫎
Everywhere we look are loads of awesome accessories.
Walking out to the sitting nook.
While we sit under the little roof, enjoying our coffees ☕️☕️ we see more old stuff and antlers. So cool 😎
The sitting area has a wire screen with little bottles on it. A great detail 😊
Next to me we see…
It is 1900h now. Time for dinner me thinks 😁
After dinner we decided to go to the large terrace to check out the #SUNSET 🌅 on the top of the steps we see:
Walking towards the edge of the terrace we take in the stunning views and this soft sunset 🌅
Beautiful… a great end to this long day of driving. It is 21:42h here.
We sit down and hope we get some drinks… but they didn't want to serve us anymore 😳 as they were closing… in 20 minutes. Ach well… we enjoyed our views nevertheless…
Inside we see on a cabinet how the new owners changed the hotel. A great personal touch.
