Unusual place to take pictures. I walked behind the fishermen moving among the rocks below the lighthouse entrance to our city. I had not seen any photos from this vantage point by anyone I knew, so I decided to walk very cautiously, watching where I was stepping and keeping my center of gravity as close to the rock wall as possible. I reached a point where the base of the fortress above me had cracked. I couldn't jump behind the fishermen and lost sight of them. So I stayed there, hoping to capture some interesting happenings. I looked up at the city skyline. The storm clouds were getting beautiful, threatening, but I had to be mindful of the time I had to get back without risking falling because of the rush or getting my gear wet, either from the rain or worse. Then one of the fishermen I had been following emerged from the rock where I had lost track of him. He was looking out to the sea, about 7 or 10 meters below, with his line ready to cast. What was he seeing? Did he really think that at that height he would have any success? I captured the whole process, two or three times, all with the same result...I am not a fisherman, but I think this trial and error exercise gave the expected answers, and to me, four acceptable photos.
Thanks for the opportunity!
