Staying intentional with my skincare products

✨"We have been lucky to have the aloe vera plant thrive well in my compound and even last beyond the dry seasons. Occasionally, rashes or skin lesions appear on my body, and even when prescribed drugs could do the job, I prefer to rely on the magic of the aloe vera plant. I feel more comfortable applying the natural product than using artificial or Orthodox medicines on skin lesions. " @jjmusa2004

✨"I also use a karis three in one face wash three times in a month to help exfoliate dead skin, giving way to the bright and supple skin underneath. I do not use this face scrub as often as I should because once again, I'm very sceptical about the products I use on my face. Also, I endeavour to stay indoors the whole day after applying a facial scrub to prevent direct UV rays from damaging my skin any further." @wongi

Going With What Works

✨"I think when it comes to skincare as it affects minimalism, that’s where a lot of people tend to draw the line. Simply because, everyone is struggling to find what works for them. And that’s important, because, on the internet today, there are a lot of people that are being misled into thinking that you can’t get the skin tone or texture you want if you don’t have a complicated or complex skincare routine." @jhymi

The Importance Of Mindfulness In These Times

✨"It's not easy to live in this world, at this time, when you feel so deeply. When you are open to receive. When you find yourself overwhelmed and in tears, in this crazy world.
But with all the injustice, there is also so much beauty. So many beautiful interactions to be had, if we remain open to them. Interactions, connections. " @trucklife-family

Skincare minimalist? Maybe or maybe not

✨"It wasn't really easy to get that, that works perfectly for my skin. I have an overly sensitive skin and when it comes in contact with anything wrong, the breakouts are worse than what I usually have. Makes them even harder to treat." @oluchi31

Yoga, sleep, and skincare.

✨"In the process of searching for what works, I took my yoga routine seriously, and it did a thing with my skin tone, however, the result wasn’t showing on my face as much as on my body. So, I knew I needed to find a way out." @storygoddess

My skin and its care

✨" I'm a guy, and we—those of us who grew up in rural areas—see things like using expensive creams, or even average-budget ones, as a waste of money. It doesn't typically have much effect on our bodies since the intense sunlight we experience while working on the farm tends to neutralize the cream's effects." @kingsleyy

✨"My day to day routine is somewhat different. I go from shower to face serum, then lotion, then sunscreen. Same thing at night except the sunscreen. There are other products in this brand line but I stick to what I can afford. Besides, I know that more steps than necessary would not just be hectic on my pocket but also my time." @deraaa

✨"My minimalist approach isn't only driven by budget constraints. I simply dislike excess products because of the harshness of some chemicals. Many encounter more skin challenges in their quest to have a glow skin. Some products contain harsh substance that give them clogged pores, irritation and the acnes, and the likes. Some products even bleach beyond recognition while some give uneven tone." @ainajane

✨"I mix the Shea butter with the Family Care lotion each time I want to apply it. This mix makes me feel like I’m giving my skin the nourishment it needs" @jezmaine
